	The Final Night
	The Final Night of The Wolvercote & District British Legion was one of mixed emotions. It was the end of an era for the Legion and it’s members, however with one door closing another one would reopen on the 21st July 2007 as The Canal Club. Gone would be Membership access would be available to anyone and everyone, with access to the community based projects a priority. Along with a fully refurbished club would come a donated Snooker Table from The Wolvercote Boys Club with access to the table available for anyone who wishes to use it (Apart from when the room is in use for private Functions). We will also be offering soft and alcoholic refreshments along with light bar snacks and the regular crisps and drinks at affordable prices with Alcohol being still at Club prices. We all hope that The Canal Club will be the focal point of Wolvercote and the surrounding areas and we hope to see old and new faces alike when we reopen on the 21st July 2007. Look out for the posters through your door and in shop windows and the updated pictures on the website of the new club.
